What made you choose Kings Row?

We were really pleased with the location of the development, as it is so close to Ely city centre. It came at the perfect time and the location has been such a benefit for us the whole time we’ve been living here.

Was there anything that really sold your new home to you during viewings?

After visiting the show home and another property at Kings Row we were sold on the house. In particular, we were drawn to the layout and the fact the home had an annexe. It felt so lovely and spacious.

There were a few compromises, mainly in terms of the kitchen size, but we were happy to do this as the location and the many other positive elements of the home won us over.

How have you found living here?

We’ve lived here for almost two years now and have really loved it.

We are so pleased to be living in such a lovely home with great amenities and the city centre on our doorstep. We’re getting used to the small things we had to compromise on, but it’s been a positive experience overall.

What has your experience of Palace Green Homes been?

Our experience of both Palace Green Homes and purchasing the home via Cheffins has been fantastic. The team at Palace Green Homes has been so helpful.

As with any new build, there has been some snagging issues, but we are pleased with how Jo and the team have responded to these and managed them. Aside from these things the home had been fitted with some lovely furnishings and fittings, so it really feels like a high-quality home.

Why did you choose Ely?

We lived on the other side of Newmarket and wanted to make the move closer to a town or city centre, and Ely seemed a great choice. Only a short walk and you’re in the heart of a lovely city as well as having great transport links into London!

Ely is a lovely, quaint city with lots of history, so what’s not to love?

Would you recommend buying a home from Palace Green Homes?

I definitely would. We had never purchased a new build before and had instead renovated properties, so this was a bit different to what we’re used to.

Buying a new build comes with some issues but the process has been a lot easier with Palace Green Homes on hand to help. We always felt reassured and that we weren’t a bother for asking questions, so I’d definitely recommend them for their customer care.

I would absolutely consider another Palace Green Homes property if we move again.
