Kennett Garden Village

A sustainable, lower-density ‘garden village’ style mixed-use development that will provide high-quality housing including affordable housing, create local employment opportunities and encourage healthy and sociable community living.

Set in a leafy landscape, just off Station Road in Kennett, to the north of the train station, Kennett Garden Village looks set to redefine the standard in village-based property developments. On a prime 40-hectare site that has been allocated in the East Cambs Local Plan, this development of around 500 new homes includes affordable homes for local people, together with a new enterprise park for local employment and a new car park facility for the station. The genuinely affordable Community Land Trust homes will be allocated for people living and/or working in the parish.

Number of homes: approximately 500
